Product Information
The ACF30U-MBS is the ideal solution for easy integration of a smart card reader into the desktop environment. It uses the same electronic circuit as the ACR30, and has the same versatility and costeffectiveness that have always been associated with ACS’ smart card readers. As it uses the PC’s internal power supply from the USB interface, extra power supply is not needed for the device to work. Similar to ACR30, ACF30U-MBS Smart Card Reader/Writer is also very simple to use and install. It is ideal for electronic commerce, home banking or e-purse facilities, secure computer access or any of a multitude of other applications.

Interfacing Scheme
The floppy-bay reader is designed to be mounted or integrated into a standard PC Chassis. The power of the reader is obtained through the internal switching power supply of the PC. Basically, the floppy-bay reader is the same as an ACR30 reader.
The size is the same as a standard 3”1/2 floppy driver. Screw holes will be provided. Please follow the below mentioned scheme for connection.
USB reader, using an USB cord to connect the reader to the Motherboard
An USB cord is required:
- Please plug one end of the cord to the back of ACF30U-MBS, and the other end to the plug on the motherboard.
