This PC based smart card reader and writer from ACS is one of the most versatile products of this type available in the market today. This compact device can handle a very wide range of memory cards and microcontroller cards with T=0 and T=1 protocols. It can reside on a computer monitor or desk as a stand-alone device. With the built-in Security Access Module (SAM) slot, this device supports various high security applications, such as electronic commerce, secure information access, secure control access and multitudes of other applications.
It is available in two models:
ACR20S - ACR20 with RS-232 serial interface
ACR20S-S - ACR20 with RS-232 serial interface, with built-in SAM slot.
In its classic casing, the ACR20 is available in a variety of colors.
Customization can also be done, depending on customer requirements.
The ACR20 is also supplied in module form (ACM20). Retaining the full functionalities of the reader/writer, the reader module is ideal for integration in payphones, parking meters, vending machines, laundries, gaming machines, ATM's, sophisticated access control systems, and more.
