Argentina introduced an ambitious high-tech in its fight to stamp out violence at football matches in country. The tickets and turnstiles will be replaced by magnetic identification cards under a new system that has been approved by the Football Association Argentine (AFA). A first test is conducted in the first division of Lanús in early May, and if successful, will be applied in other clubs in early 2010. "All those who want to go to a football stadium should include in a database and have a magnetic card with your name, photo, document number and fingerprints, "said this week the AFA said in a statement.
