The NXP J3R452 JCOP 4.5 P71D600 is a secure, high-performance Java Card platform designed for advanced identity, payment, and authentication solutions. Built on NXP’s trusted JCOP 4.5 architecture, and part of the JCOP ID2 Family, it combines proven reliability with modern cryptographic performance and extensive configuration options to suit a wide range of applications. Supporting Java Card 3.0.5 Classic Edition and GlobalPlatform 2.3.1, the card allows secure deployment and management of multiple applets, making it ideal for national ID, financial, and enterprise systems.
Its dual-interface capability enables both contact and contactless operation, achieving up to 848 Kbps contactless and high transfer rates through contact communication. The inclusion of Physical Unclonable Function (PUF) technology provides hardware-level defense against cloning and tampering, ensuring trusted device identity and data integrity.
The platform supports a wide range of cryptographic algorithms, including AES, RSA up to 4096 bits, ECC up to 521 bits, and SHA-2, alongside modern schemes such as EdDSA (Ed25519) and Brainpool curves. This ensures compatibility with both current and future security standards, enabling strong encryption, digital signatures, and key management directly on the card.
It can be configured with multiple options, please refer to our other product with all the available variations:

You may choose contact-only, contactless or dual-interface communication. For MIFARE technology, it supports MIFARE Plus EV2 or MIFARE DESFire EV3, offering seamless integration with transport, payment, or access-control systems. The Secure Channel Protocol can be selected between SCP02 and SCP03, depending on the desired security architecture.
In terms of physical customization, the card body is available in PVC, ABS, PET/PETG/rPETG, or Polycarbonate, providing durability and visual flexibility. It also supports multiple form factors, including the standard ID-1 card size, as well as Round Transparent NFC, 1FF Credit Card sized ID-1, 2FF (Mini-SIM), 3FF (Micro-SIM), and 4FF (Nano-SIM) formats, allowing integration into mobile, embedded, or specialized devices.
Certified under Common Criteria EAL6+, EMVCo, and FIPS 140-3, the J3R452 provides verified trust, interoperability, and high-assurance security. Combined with its flexible configuration options and comprehensive cryptography, it serves as one of the most adaptable and future-ready smart-card solutions available today.
